From the Depot

In this exhibition we brought special works by Jopie Huisman out of storage that are not normally on display. A unique chance for visitors to enjoy paintings, drawings and objects that cast a different light on Jopie's work and life.

Many of these pieces are fragile or part of the museum collection that is not shown as standard. Especially for this exhibition they were temporarily brought together in our new gallery.

The press was enthusiastic too: the Leeuwarder Courant published an extensive article about this special exhibition.
